Shipping/Receiving Coordinator(Strathroy)---Full time

Reporting to the Department Manager, this position receives and stores incoming material, ships outbound materials and assists with material and inventory tracking.



Primary Responsibilities



•Prepares and assembles all Customs, Brokerage, USDA, CFIA and Commercial invoice documents for outbound Finished Goods shipments
•Co-coordinating of freight requirements for outbound Finished Goods shipments
•Cleans containers of incoming material prior to entry into the raw material warehouse, and applies labels as required
•Receives inbound material into the computer (Fourth Shift) system
•Delivers mail/packages, accounts for packing slips and files packing slips
•Performs system transactions for movement of inventory in computer (Fourth Shift) system
•Performs audits in finished goods and raw material warehouses (cycle counts)
•Determines appropriate warehouse location for finished goods, and enters inventory information in computer (Fourth Shift) system
•Accompanies QA audits and assists with follow up to ensure GMPs are met.
•Cleans material in warehouse (i.e. containers, finished goods cartons, etc.) to ensure GMP compliance
•Complies to all SOPs and GMPs


Success Criteria



•High School Diploma. Additional education would be considered an asset
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving or inventory control
•Capable of obtaining a Forklift Operator Certificate
•Competent user of any Material Resource Planning Software (i.e. Fourth Shift)
•Capable of operating related computer applications (including but not limited to; Word, Excel, Outlook).
•Shift work and overtime, as required.
•Basic math skills are required.
