Fitness Advisor/Front Desk Associate(Strathroy)---Full time

Job Summary---Goodlife Strathroy - Position Filled

The employee is responsible for ensuring members are greeted and welcomed in a warm and friendly manner and their needs are met courteously and promptly. The employee is also responsible for making phone calls as assigned (not cold calls) and assisting with minor cleaning.

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities
• Service members and guests and take incoming calls with a big smile and enthusiastic greeting
• Complete knowledge of sales system
• Ensure members use proper check-in procedures; collect guest fees from non-members
• Have complete knowledge of tanning, tanning products and available pro shop items
• Complete facility and change room inspections regularly
• Maintain tanning room and bed cleanliness
• Handle complaints in a courteous and professional manner
• Complete filing and administration duties as assigned
• Answer the telephone within 3 rings
• Adhere to and promote monthly marketing
• Complete “Club Tour Waiver” for each prospective member
• Acquire and document Health History and Needs, Goals and Timeframe for each prospective member
• Enter daily statistics and hours into the CARE system
• Be knowledgeable of assigned scripts for phone calls, tours, etc
• Complete all paperwork in accordance with company standards
• Report all cleanliness and maintenance issues immediately

Qualifications
• High school diploma or working toward completion
• CPR and AED certification
• Must be Smart Tan certified within 3 months of employment
• Knowledge of fitness and/or tanning industry a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in the use of computers
• Previous customer service and sales experience an asset
• Evening and weekend work required
• Standing 4-8 hours continuously
