ENTERTAINMENT MC - S-Trip!

Job Overview:

The Entertainment MC is a front-line destination staff member and must be able to drive excitement and create a full unique experience while on destination.  They will encourage, interact, and engage all passengers throughout their trip to make it Epic!  Running live events poolside, and MCing night time events.  This role is key to creating the party atmosphere for hundreds of students.  Working to create memorable experiences on passengers' #TripofaLifetime.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

• Assisting fellow Trip Leaders while on destination when required.
• Helping to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all passengers trip.
• Maintaining an enthusiastic, assertive and passionate approach to all activities; animations throughout the trip to drive excitement.
• Encourage all passengers' participation and interaction in activities.

Skills, Experience, and Education Requirements:

• Excellent communicator, confident, outgoing and positive.
• Demonstrated ability to manage groups in a relaxed manner.
• Requires the ability to multi task and have a flexible, calm and effective response to conflicts or difficult interpersonal situations.
• Quick thinking, flexible learner who enjoys the public.
• Requires enthusiastic presentation skills and knowledge of content.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours.
• Attendance at mandatory pre-trip training session.
• Complete or pursuing College or University Degree.
• Fluent in French and Spanish is an asset.
• Must have past MC/Animation/Public Speaking experience.
• Valid passport.

Salary:

• This is a part-time contract position.
• Compensation will depend on the duration of the trip.
