AZ FLATBED DRIVERS NEEDED

Company:  Larabie Consulting, Management & Logistics Inc.

Positions:  AZ flatbed drivers needed for local construction project.

Initial start date:  January 6, 2014 - 2 drivers for initial start date.   Approximately 2 more drivers will be required by February.  Additional hiring to take place by June.

Rate of Pay:  $18 - $22/hr - depending on experience

Hours per week:  approximately 40 hours/week -- will be required to work flexible day and evening hours.

Anticipated Length of Project:  up to 18 months

Required skills include:

  • Managerial skills to effectively direct staff/volunteers/day-to-day operations
  • Solid understanding of financial procedures
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, esp. with event management.

Job Overview:

You will be the Heart & Soul of S-Trip! Destination team!  Trip Leaders are the first point of contact between passengers and S-Trip! on travel days, and will act as a main point of contact whenever passengers have questions and/or concerns.  Most importantly, making sure passengers are having a #TripofaLifetime.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Escorting groups from their point of origin to their final destination.
  • Assisting with all activities, shuttles, and events while on destination.
  • Provide area information as well as safety and activity briefings for all passengers.

  • Leadership experience is an asset!!! (Frosh/Orientation Leader, Residence Advisor, Coaching and Camp Counsellor experience are all suitable forms of relevant leadership experience).
Skills,Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Ideally have experience working with youth in a leadership role (see above).
  • Attendance at mandatory pre-trip training session.
  • Completed or pursuing College or University Degree.
  • Must be able to commit to pre-trip and out-going training throughout the year.
  • Must be comfortable working long hours and evening shifts supervising the students on destination.
  • Valid passport.
  • Outgoing and positive.
  • Fluent in French and Spanish is an asset.
Additional Information:

After the training session, an open book test will be issued, based on the provided manual.  Successful candidates that pass the test become Certified Destination Staff for 1 year upon the date the test is completed.

Salary:
  • This is a part-time contract position.
