The successful candidate should be team-oriented, able to multi-task, be self-motivated and possess good organizational skills with attention to quality and detail.  Experience in a machine shop environment, basic computer skills, and machining equipment is an asset.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12 Diploma (shop experience an asset)
• Attention to detail
• Good attendance record
• Ability to work overtime and/or shiftwork
• Should possess a Valid Drivers License

Responsibilities:

• Report to shop floor supervisor as required
• Maintaining a clean and safe shop floor
• Capable of operating production equipment and/or machinery
• Perform First and Last Off reports as instructed
• Responsible for moving, loading and unloading components to and from the machines
• Operate machinery in a safe manner at all times
• Maintain tools and equipment in peak condition
• Ensure good housekeeping practices at all times

Growing business in need of a Dairy Technician to work closely with the milking equipment aspect of their business in the Strathroy area.  Contract position with possible full time.

Individuals must :

• have 2+ years of dairy technician experience
• be capable of using Microsoft software 
• be able to handle the business aspects in dealing with customers, inventory, paperwork and invoicing
• must be able to collect data, analyze data and give recommendations based on information collected
• post-secondary education required
• experience or knowledge in electronics and mechanics would also be an asset to this position
