Seasons Retirement Communities is seeking a compassionate, motivated individual to fill the role of Care Supervisor in its Seasons Strathroy community. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to provide professional nursing care to residents in accordance with required medical care and established nursing care plans and practices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for areas including:
◦Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individualized care to meet the residents’ physical and emotional needs. Ensure resident care plan is initiated in collaboration with other members of the multidisciplinary team
◦Communicate with relatives regarding the care and condition of respective residents
◦In conjunction with the Care Services Manager, participate in discharge planning, consultation, and/or transfer of residents
◦As required, provide direct resident care and participate in resident teaching
◦Encourage active participation by residents in all therapy programs and recreational activities
◦Assist in the development and maintenance of an appropriate plan of care for each resident
◦Liaise with attending physicians, psychiatrists, consultants, social workers, clergy, relatives or responsible persons, as well as other members of the Residents and Guest Services team to ensure effective resident care is provided
◦All other duties as assigned
In addition, the successful candidate will be required to promote high quality care while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents, resident families, visitors and staff.
Experience as an RPN registered with the College of Nurses and experience within the seniors housing industry are required.

This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of a team that produces meals for residents and guests using production checks and standardized recipes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for areas including:
◦Preparing meals for residents and guests ensuring dietary needs are met
◦Ensuring residents are satisfied with all aspects of food preparation and presentation
◦Ordering and receiving food and supplies
◦Ordering and preparing food for booked catering events
◦Operating and cleaning food production equipment and food preparation areas
◦Complying with all food preparation standards and health and safety requirements
In addition, the successful candidate will be required to promote high quality care while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents, resident families, and visitors. The work requires standing for extended periods of time, and lifting and carrying heavy trays and items.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as is excellence in achieving continuous quality improvements.
Previous experience in a volume food preparation environment is preferred. Current Safe Food Handler’s Certification is required.

AZ Drivers Needed (SW Ontario/Alberta)---Full time
Busy national company is looking for AZ drivers for immediate hire. Suitable candidates would be working in both Southwestern Ontario (summer/fall) and Alberta (Winter/spring). Related to the oil business and pump services, drivers will be required to do some labour intensive work as well as driving, so physical fitness is required. Less experienced drivers may apply, but suitable candidates should have 1 year of AZ driving experience. Drivers abstract will be required, and candidates/employees will undergo drug and alcohol testing.
Experienced DZ drivers may be considered for upgrading to AZ. Pay is typically a combination of salary + bonuses, and will be negotiated with employer. Drivers must be open to travelling to Alberta during slow season here, or if demand requires it. Company pays for air travel to and from Ontario (21 day cycle), as well as accomodation when working in Alberta.
